I caused an accident.
I think people in New Jersey can’t drive. Maybe they can’t drive anywhere else other than Manhattan. I have years of experience driving a bicycle and a skateboard in Manhattan. Whenever I do these things outside of Manhattan, the drivers around me act like idiots. They honk. My motto has always been, “Don’t honk -- drive.” That round thing that you’re using to honk with, turn it.
So one day I’m riding home from Subway. I’m hungry. I want to eat my sandwich. I’m shooting the wrong way down a hill. A car is coming my way. There ‘s no way I’m stopping. I move to the right as far as I can go. Plenty of room for the car to pass. I see he turns to the left or his right. Okay. Everything should be fine. We pass each other. Crunch. He rakes the cars on the right. I look back and laugh.
Stupid.
